Blank End Vari-Gib Couplings

WANG Blank End Vari-Gib Couplings provide an effective and convenient mechanical way of blanking off a pipe end. Ranging from DN80 to DN250, the couplings are designed to suit a large range of pipe types and sizes. The wedge-shaped nitrile rubber gasket allows the couplings to be suitable for water, wastewater, and gas applications with prior approval from asset manager.

  • Tapping Pad' on blank end permitting drain flush or sampling point to be added

WANG Blank End Vari-Gib Couplings are designed to blank off pipes or for a drain flush or sampling point to be incorporated, including a max operating pressure of 1600kpa. Please note that Blank End Vari-Gib Couplings are not recommended for use on HDPE pipe, instead refer to our Poly-Gib Couplings range. Shoring will be required at fitting to prevent axial dislodgement under pressure.
